Choosing Wisely Australia® is part of a global initiative encouraging clinicians, consumers and healthcare professionals to raise awareness and begin important conversations to avoid unnecessary medical tests, treatments and procedures.
The Choosing Wisely® initiative was developed by the American Board of Internal Medicine Foundation (ABIMF) in the USA in 2012, and has since become a larger global campaign to ensure the highest quality of healthcare.
The RCPA, together with Choosing Wisely Australia®, has developed a list of ‘Five things clinicians and consumers should question’ prior to requesting specific diagnostic tests. Fastway Couriers, Australia’s largest independent courier company, is delighted to announce it has been appointed as the courier company to drive Officeworks’ new hassle-free parcel delivery service, Mailman. As Mailman’s premier courier service provider, Fastway’s Courier Franchisees will transport parcels throughout their extensive national network on a daily basis.
Richard Thame, CEO of Fastway Australia, said:
“Fastway is excited to be working with Officeworks on its new parcel delivery service, Mailman. At Fastway, our customers are at the centre of everything we do and we’re proud of our rich history in providing innovative services that meet our customers’ demands.”
Regardless of the ‘send’ destination, Mailman offers national flat-rate pricing and the option to drop-off parcels outside of business hours, seven days a week, thanks to Officeworks’ extended trading hours. Customers can utilise Mailman’s pre-paid labels, as well as print their own labels online through the Officeworks website, available 24/7, saving users valuable time. With signature on delivery, plus free track and trace, delivery between most capital cities takes just one to two business days.
“Our network of over 700 professional courier drivers take to the road each day to transport parcels across the nation. We look forward to offering the most convenient, cost effective service for Mailman customers across Australia,” says Richard.
